The new exhibit on display in the Max Chambers Library, Change Your Landscape, Change Your Life, features landscape paintings from the Melton Art Reference Library Collection. As the past year’s restrictions on travel and social gathering continue to loosen, the current images encourage us to journey to new locations and to explore the great outdoors. Experiencing nature can soothe us and expand our appreciation for the environment. Traveling to new destinations can broaden our perspectives and offer respite from difficult times. Whether you venture to the rocky coast of the northeast or to the cactus-filled desert of the southwest (or if you decide to imagine the vast, wide open mountainside or a secluded, forest path), changing your scenery can improve your mental state and even transform your life.
