Any faculty member may place materials on reserve which will be used intensively by his/her students. Reserve materials are located at the Information Desk and will circulate for 3 day loans, or may be restricted to "library use only" for 3 hours as designated by the faculty member.
Please allow 3 working days for items to be placed on reserve.
Please contact your Liaison Librarian or the Research & Learning Librarians for more information or help in selecting appropriate online resources in lieu of traditional print Reserves during the pandemic.
Faculty may place library-owned books on Reserve, except for Reference books, as well as, personal copies of books. However, the library is not responsible for wear and tear resulting from the use of such materials, nor is the library able to replace personal copies of books if they should be lost (faculty may request that their library liaison purchase replacement copies of lost materials to be owned by the library from the materials budget available to that department).
Expiration of Reserves is based on academic year usage.
The University of Central Oklahoma recognizes the university's main campus is located on the traditional lands of the Caddo and Wichita people.
