Central searches is a tool to quickly and easily discover credible sources. These include books, articles, videos, and more. Start by entering topic keywords or specific information such as author or title. In the Central Search box. You may want to sign into your library account with your Uconnect username and password in order to save records, request items, or see what you've checked out. Because there are millions of resources in Central Search, you may want to limit and refine your initial results. Using the drop-down menu you can limit to the type of items such as books or articles. You can also use the options on the left to filter your results further, e.g. you can limit your results to show only peer-reviewed articles from a certain date range. Items in print will display the location and call number. If you're logged into your library account, you may request these items and pick them up at the information desk. If you need help finding an item on the shelf, contact the information desk. We're here to help. When an item is available electronically, you will see green text indicating online access. Click on the title to show the options. The links in the "View it" section will take you to the item so you can view and download the full PDF. The online record has other helpful features such as options to e-mail or create a citation. Be sure to check the citation for accuracy. To return to your results, click the X icon. If you need any help, please contact the UCO library. We're here to help.
