Sewing Machine

We are ready to serve your sewing machine needs with a Sailrite sewing machine. This workhorse will do basic straight and zigzag stitches for apparel sewing, but is robust enough to sew multiple layers of canvas and even leather if that's what your project needs.  

No prior experience with a sewing machine? No problem! Hands-on assistance is available upon scheduling before your visit to the studio.

Policies & Procedures

• The Sewing Machine can accommodate 1 person at a time. There are adequate viewing areas around the space for others to watch.
• The machine can be booked 2 days from the current day and up to 1 ½ months in advance.
• Sewing Machine bookings may be up to 2 hours.
• Reservations will be held for 15 minutes after start time.
• Walk-ins may use the Sewing Machine equipment when it is not reserved and there is adequate staff on hand. 
• Personal belongings are your responsibility.
• Disclaimer: Patrons are encouraged to utilize their own materials; however, it's important to note that all non-UCO provided materials are subject to review.
