McCasland Foundation Recording Studio

The McCasland Foundation Recording Studio is a green screen room with equipment for filming and editing.

You may book appointments up to 1 ½ months ahead and up to two hours long. Students booking for class assignment should note professor's name on appointment form.

  • 2 desktop tripod dynamic microphone stands with pop filter and shock mount
  • 4-way distribution headphone amplifier
  • JVC 4K camera (Instruction manual)

  • 3 movable lights on tripods
  • green screen drop cloths
  • 10.5 ft tall x 12 ft wide green screen wall

A laptop with software for video and audio editing is available.
Adobe Premiere Pro - Timeline-based video editing that supports high resolution video and surround sound. (Tutorials)
Audacity - Free, open source, cross-platform audio software for multi-track recording and editing. (Tutorials)
VSDC Video Editor - Free, non-linear video and image editing software for Windows computers. (Tutorials)
