Physical Collections
The Main Collection is located on the 3rd floor (see map at right). Use Central Search and narrow to Books & Media to discover the call number area for your topic. When you get there, browse around, checking chapter contents and indexes, as some books may be less obviously about your topic based on titles alone.
The Reference Collection is located on the north side of the first floor of the library. This collection includes encyclopedias, dictionaries, and handbooks - all good materials for giving you a general overview or commentary on your topic. While they have to stay in the library, they are a great way to jump start your research. If you need help using a reference material, the Information Desk to the south of the collection is here to help!
The New Book Collection is also on the first floor. It is small, but mighty! Our newest additions to the collection will be in this area on the southwest corner.
Electronic Collections
Ebooks are great if you are needing to access materials from home. The following databases have ebook collections:
