Library Express

Library Express is a service for UCO faculty, staff, and distance students to receive materials delivered to their offices and homes or articles electronically delivered to their email.

Delivery of Materials to Faculty & Staff Offices

Faculty and staff can request delivery of materials from our library shelves to their offices by using Library Express.

How it works:

  1.  Find an item you want on the library catalog or Central Search
  2.  Login to ILLiad and click on "Bring library-owned books, etc. to me" **
  3.  Fill out the form with the information from the catalog
  4.  We make deliveries each weekday after 2pm
  5.  To return items, click on "Pick up library items from my office"
     

Delivery of Materials to Distance Students

E-Learning only delivery service will include both UCO owned and ILL materials to students who are enrolled in only online courses and live more than 30 miles from campus. ILL will provide a return label, but the student will need to pay for the delivery of returned item(s). We require the returned material to be tracked and suggest items be insured for protection against lost or damaged materials. Students are responsible for any lost or damaged item(s) being returned. Fines will be based on the postmarked date of the item(s) being sent back for return.

Delivery of UCO materials:

  1.  Find an item you want on the library catalog or Central Search
  2.  Login to ILLiad and click on "Bring/deliver library-owned books, etc. to me" **
  3.  Fill out the form with the information from the catalog or Central Search
  4.  We will send out materials within 24 hours upon receiving request M-F
  5.  To return items, please use the return label provided upon receipt of the item(s).

Delivery of ILL materials:

  1.  Login to ILLiad and click on "Bring/deliver ILL books, etc. to me"**
  2.  Fill out the form with the information from the catalog or Central Search
  3.  We will send out materials within 24 hours upon receiving item(s) from lending library M-F
  4.  To return items, please use the return label provided upon receipt of the item(s).
     

Electronic Delivery of Articles to Email

Everyone in the UCO community can get articles from other libraries electronically delivered through Interlibrary Loan, but UCO faculty, staff and distance students can request articles retrieved and electronically delivered from print periodicals that our library owns.

How it works:

  1.  The article you need is only available in a print periodical that the library owns *
  2.  Login to ILLiad and click on "E-deliver library-owned articles" **
  3.  Fill out the form with as much information as you have about the article
  4.  We will scan the article and send you an email with a link to retrieve it in pdf format

* You can search titles of periodicals using a Journal Search in the catalog. If the periodical is not available in full text online but is available in print in UCO Library, you can use Library Express to request an electronic copy.

** First time users must fill out a free registration.
