Can the Library stream locally-hosted content?
At this time, the Library does not have a long-term streaming solution. We place some content in Kaltura; however, we are limited as to how much content due to the terms of the campus subscription.
Can we convert multimedia to digital for streaming?
Multimedia can be converted to digital and made available only if it is considered an obsolete format. For example, VHS tapes are an obsolete format; however, DVDs are not.
How can I confirm if copyright protection applies to the items we want to digitize?
