Phrase Searching
Put quotation marks around your search terms to keep them together. Example: "speech language pathology" or "special education"
Boolean Terms
Narrow your search - combine terms with AND. Example: "speech language pathology" AND assessment
Broaden your search - combine terms with OR. Example: "speech language pathology AND (assessment OR testing)
Truncation
Cut a word off at the trunk and let it branch out during the search! Example: Education = Educat* or Testing = Test*
