Google site limiter

Helpful hint!

When searching Google, you can limit the types of websites in your results list. You can even limit your results to a specific website. Just use the word site followed by a colon and then what limit you want.

Examples:

population growth site:.edu (this will return results only from education websites)

population growth site:census.gov (this will return results only from the US Census website)

Not everything you find on the Internet is trustworthy. Practically anyone can publish an opinion on the Internet. As a researcher, your job is to distinguish between the sources that contain accurate information and those sources you should avoid.
