Books
The Chambers Library main book collection is housed on the 3rd floor. Books are arranged by subject using the Library of Congress Classification system. This system uses letters and numbers to give each book a unique location - it's own Call Number.
Read call numbers in alpha-numeric order.
If you don't know the specific title of a book, you can use the tabs above to help know which section of the 3rd floor to browse for your subject.

GT 500 - 2370 = Costumes and fashion
NK 4700 - 4890 = Artistic costume design
TT 490 - 695 = Clothing manufacture. Dressmaking. Tailoring
TT 950 - 979 = Hairdressing. Beauty culture
NA 190 - 1555.5 = History of architecture
NA 2835 - 4050 = Details and decorations
NK 600 - 806 = History of design and decoration
NK 1700 - 2195 = Interior and house decoration
NK 2200 - 2750 = Furniture design
MT 955 - 956 = Musical Theater
MT 960 = Music in the theater
PN 1585 - 1589 = Centers for performing arts
PN 2000 - 3307 = Dramatic representation / the theater
