Step 2: Identify databases, journals, & search engines

  • You can browse the library databases alphabetically to find a specific one
  • Take advantage of the many Subject Guides that have been developed by UCO librarians. These can serve as subject-specific pathfinders to get you started.
  • Ask your professor for some general resources that you might consult
  • Consider using a variety of academic and/or commercial search engines other than Google
