Title

Into The Wild

Review

Christopher McCandless was a brave man. After graduating from Emory University in 1990, McCandless left his cushy life to travel the unknowns of the United States as his alter-ego "Alexander Supertramp."

Alexander partied with hippies, worked farm labor, learned leather tooling and, eventually, landed into the wilds of Alaska where he finally meets. . .well; you'll need to see the film.

Sean Penn, who directs, weaves McCandless' story into an engrossing cinematic experience that finds you completely entangled and unaware of the two hour plus spent watching the film.

If you want the book experience before viewing the movie, please feel free to grab our copy of the novel the movie was based on—Jon Krakauer’s Into the Wild. ~ Amanda Lemon
