The Boom Bang were a garage rock from Oklahoma City. One of the most interesting and exciting bands to come out of Oklahoma in the last 10 years (along with Tulsa’s BRONCHO and Purcell’s Parker Millsap) The Boom Bang bring their own blend of garage and surf rock in their only full length album, World War Fun. Tracks like “Mondo Ripper” and “Skateboard Devito” are certain to please, and the album opener, “Ahh…Fresh Monsters” showcase why they were such a phenomenal band.
