Troubleshooting Steps

If you are experiencing trouble accessing online library resources, please try the following steps:

 

1. Enable Cookies

Make sure the following are enabled on any browser you are using: Cookies, JavaScript, and TLS 1.1, 1.2, 1.3

Enable Cookies: Chrome | Edge | Firefox | Internet Explorer | Safari
Enable JavaScript: Chrome | Edge (no JavaScript control) | Firefox | Internet Explorer | Safari
Enable TLS 1.1, 1.2, & 1.3: Chrome | Edge | Firefox | Internet Explorer | Safari (Safari version 7 or greater, TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 are automatically enabled)

2. Clear Cache

Clear the Cache and Cookies on your browser and then restart your computer.

3. Add URL to Safe List

If you have any web monitoring software such as Covenant Eyes, please make sure to add libproxy.uco.edu to the safe list.

4. Try a New Browser

The problem may be with the web browser you are using. Try a different one and see if the problem continues.
          - Download Chrome
          - Download Firefox

5. Log Into UCONNECT

Try logging into https://uconnect.uco.edu and see if you successfully authenticate, then try logging into library resources.

6. Try a New Device

If you have access to another computer or device, try using it. If you can access library resources from a different device, it will indicate that a configuration on your current device is causing the issue.

7. Use a Library Computer

As a last resort, you may visit the library and use one of the library's computers to access library resources.
