Brigsby Bear ~ DVD
Brisgby Bear tells the story of James Pope, a young man whose sole obsession is a local cable access program titled Brigsby Bear. When James’s reality is upended, he turns to his favorite television show to make sense of the world.
Watching this for the first time, I had only watched the trailer and had decided I didn’t want to know more about the movie than what I saw in the trailer. I am so thankful that I did this, because it really intensified the experience of wonderment as I watched the movie. I would urge you not to research much about the movie (if at all), but instead go into it cold with no expectations. What I can tell you about the film is this; Brigsby Bear is a quirky, heartwarming comedy about the power of imagination, belief, and friendship. “There's magic and wonder and mysteries in store” for everyone who watches.
