How do I get into the library databases?

Use the same login that you use for Uconnect to get into all our library databases off campus. Initially, your PIN is your birthdate in MMDDYY format. Your username is your first initial and last name, but it may be followed by a number if there is more than one person with your first initial and last name on campus.

What if I forget my login?

You may look up your login username and PIN, or go to the Enrollment Services office (room 124) on the first floor of the Nigh University Center, to the Computer Center in the Math and Computer Science building (room 171), or to the Office of Information Technology in the Administration Building (suite 101 or 102).

Are you connecting from your workplace? 

If you are trying to connect to our library databases from work, you may have to get around a firewall (software that limits website access).  Test it here: test the connection. If you get a page that says "You are connecting from (your IP adddress here)" you don't have a firewall problem. If you get an error page, ask your network technician to add our library IP to the list of trusted websites - our IP is 204.154.112.2 and the port number is 2050. 

Cookies

Your computer must accept cookies in order to use the library's databases. Most browsers already have cookies turned on - if you can access the library's databases, then cookies are enabled and you don't have to do anything else to your computer. To enable cookies: see instructions
