Since 1934, Chambers Library has been part of a nationwide federal
depository system established by the United States Congress, under the
direction of the Government Printing Office. The library receives approximately
60% of the material made available through the Federal Depository System.
In 1978, the library also became an official depository for all Oklahoma
depository documents.

Most paper documents may be borrowed with a UCO ID
Card. Government documents less than 15 pages, published before
1945, in poor condition or fragile, and journals do not circulate. |

There are three Government Information Internet stations
available for public use. Printers cost 7¢ per page with the purchase
of a copy card. There is one additional computer equipped with ArcView
GIS software. Users are able to save their own materials to disc
and view CD- ROMs on this workstation. |
| Study Rooms: |
Three study rooms are available for use by students
either individually or in small groups. |
| Photocopying: |
There is a black and white photocopier available to
the public on the 1st and 4th floors. Copies are 10¢ per page. |
| Library Catalog: |
All Government Information selected by UCO is included
in the Chambers Library catalog. |
| InterLibrary Loan: |
If a document cannot be found in our collection, a
Government Document Staff member can request it from another library.
This normally takes a week. |
