Faculty book grants
Each spring, the Friends offer two grants of $1,000 each for materials
for the library's collections. UCO faculty and librarians are
eligible to apply.

Library fellowships
Scholars wanting to utilize the library's collections may have travel and residential costs subsidized up to $500 with a Chambers
Library Fellowship.

Student essay contest
Every other year, the Friends sponsor a student contest for essays describing how a library has positively impacted their lives.
The winners receive $200,
$100, or $50.

Student collecting contest (held every other spring)
Students can tell us about their collection of DVDs, CDs, books, and the like for a chance to win a cash prize.
To enter, UCO students compile a bibliography of at least 10 items owned solely by themselves and write a short essay
about the collection's scope and purpose.
Winners receive $200 for 1st place, $100 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd, and are eligible to enter the National Collegiate Book Collecting Contest with a grand prize of $2,500.
