Database Trials

Due to the Sarbanes-Oxley laws, many electronic information product vendors are restricted to offering one trial per product per calendar year. Colleges, departments, and faculty should include the library in all communications with electronic information product vendors. When you contact the appropriate designated library liaison, that librarian can work with library departments and the vendor regarding consortial buying and product discounts, research product reviews and title overlaps, and set up trials and link to the products.
