The library makes every effort not to deselect materials that are classics in the subject, rare or unique, have historical value, or have been checked out within seven years. These items are available for review near the library's Circulation Desk. For more information, see the deselection policy.
Reasons for Deselection:
1. Superseded edition
2. Duplicate copies of low-use books
3. Obsolete/out of date
4. Too worn, mutilated or marked-up
5. Poor quality materials
6. No longer supports the curriculum
7. Replaced with new copy
