UCO Library is the oldest academic library in the state of Oklahoma, first organized in 1894. The current building is two buildings in one: the original Max Chambers library was built in 1968 and the newer addition was completed in 1997. The library has nearly a million volumes searchable with our library catalog, 100+ public computers, 140 databases containing millions of articles, and hundreds of online reference works.
